Hello, my name is Kristen Langbauer. I hold an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology from San Antonio College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas, and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University.
I am trained in evidence-based therapies and interventions, including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Family Systems Theory (FST), Attachment-Based Therapy, Certified in Reunification/Reintegration Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma Therapy, and Gottman Levels 1 and 2. I also have expertise in chemical dependency and have over 20 years of experience as a Special Education Advocate.
I have experience in building collaborative relationships with Child Family Investigators (CFIs), Parental Responsibility Evaluators (PREs), social services, the court system, and law enforcement.
I specialize in reunification (reintegration) and court-ordered family therapy, with a focus on enhancing the parent-child relationship. In my role as a reunification and court-ordered family therapist, the child is my primary client. My professional practice is informed by clinical sessions, professional interviews, collateral interviews, a review of relevant documentation, and, most importantly, the safety of the child or children involved. I utilize an evidence-based theoretical approach to reunification therapy, drawing from Attachment Theory and Family Systems Theory.
The goals of reunification therapy are to promote healthy adjustments for the child and enhance the roles and functioning of parents within the family system. Our aim is to ensure that each child maintains a healthy relationship with both parents and to help the family system return to a positive dynamic.
As a therapist, I collaborate with my clients to pinpoint the areas in their lives where they feel stuck. Through a nonjudgmental approach, I guide them in discovering their inner strength and help them overcome obstacles that hinder them from living a vibrant life. I believe in the power of the partnership between therapist and client. Therapy is a journey of growth and self-discovery, and I affirm that your identities and experiences are significant to me.

Hello, my name is Ana Paula, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I specialize in addressing individual issues and behaviors that arise within family and relationship contexts. My approach focuses on understanding systemic relationships to identify how dysfunctional behaviors develop and how to replace them with healthy interactions.
While I primarily provide individual therapy, I also consider how personal issues fit within the larger family and relationship dynamics. My practice addresses a range of more intense challenges, including depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, attachment issues, and substance abuse, exploring how these issues impact your daily life.
I am trained in several therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Multisystemic Therapy (MST), Reunification/Reintegration Therapy, Court-Ordered Therapy, Treatment Parent Training (TFC), and addressing attachment issues and trauma. I also work with parenting challenges and relationship repair.
