Hello, my name is Kristen Langbauer and I hold an Associate of Arts in Psychology from San Antonio College, a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, a minor in Sociology, a Master of Business Administration all from The University of Texas, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University.
I’m trained to use Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I am also a Certified Trauma Professional.
I am fully trained in reunification/ reintegration therapy, parental alienation, chemical dependency counseling, and over 20 years of experience as a Special Education Advocate.
As a therapist, I work alongside my clients to explore areas in their lives where they feel stuck. With a nonjudgmental approach, I help guide my clients to discover their inner strength so that they can remove the obstacles hindering them from living a vibrant life. I strongly believe in the power of the collaborative process between therapist and client. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery. Our work is an affirmative process—your identities and experiences matter to me.

MA, LMFT
Hello, my name is Ana Paula, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who focuses on individual issues and behaviors as they come up in family and relationships. I focus on systemic relationships to understand how nonfunctional behaviors start and how to replace these with healthy relationships. I focus on individual therapy while also seeing how these fit into families and relationships. My therapy focuses on managing some more intense issues such as depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, attachment issues and how they keep coming up in your daily life, and substance abuse issues.
I’m trained to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy ( EFFT), Multisystemic Therapy (MST), Treatment Parent training (TFC), attachment issues and trauma together, parenting issues, and relationship repair.
I can help you address and resolve past traumatic issues so that they stop interfering with your current relationships with your loved ones and family. It is all about having a compassionate companion who can help you address challenging issues in order to create the healthy relationships you desire.
