Transforming Lives

Reunification Therapy & Court-Ordered Family Therapy

If you are at the point of court-ordered reintegration or court-ordered family therapy, you are likely exhausted—emotionally, mentally, and often financially.  Reaching this stage usually means the conflict has been prolonged, intense, and deeply personal. Parents are often carrying years of stress, repeated evaluations, shifting expectations, and the painful experience of watching their relationship with their child become strained or disrupted under outside scrutiny. Even when a parent is acting in good faith, the process itself can feel overwhelming, invasive, and never-ending.

Exhaustion at this point is not a sign of weakness or failure. It is a predictable response to sustained conflict, high stakes, and the pressure of navigating both the legal system and the emotional needs of a child at the same time.

We work with all participants to reduce barriers, strengthen communication, and help children experience each parent as a secure and supportive presence. The goal is to repair relationships—not place blame.

Family Therapy - High Conflict

Get support before the Court System takes over. Family conflict can escalate quickly. What often begins as a disagreement about parenting, communication, or boundaries can turn into entrenched positions, legal filings, and court-ordered services that leave everyone—especially children—emotionally exhausted.

High-conflict family therapy offers an opportunity to intervene early, before patterns harden and decisions are placed entirely in the hands of the court.

When families seek support before litigation intensifies, there is often more flexibility, support for healthier family functioning.

Individual Therapy - High Conflict Support

When you have been navigating a high-conflict co-parenting situation—especially one involving court processes, evaluations, or ongoing disputes—it is common to feel worn down, discouraged, and emotionally depleted.

Many parents describe feeling as though they are constantly defending themselves, reacting to allegations, or trying to prove their intentions rather than being seen for who they are. Over time, this can take a significant toll on mental health, confidence, and overall well-being.  Individual therapy provides a space that is yours. It can help restore a sense of internal control when external systems feel unpredictable.

Co-Parenting Coaching

Divorced or separated parents often find themselves stuck in the same issues they had when they were in their relationship. Arguments and power struggles can take a toll on both the parents’ and the child’s mental health, as well as get in the way of any future relationships. Co-parenting coaching helps parents set healthy boundaries and learn conflict resolution skills. Some coparents would rather avoid the court system to resolve minor parenting issues and seek a neutral third-party opinion.

Child Family Investigator (CFI) Services

I offer Child and Family Investigator (CFI) services as a neutral, court-appointed professional to assist the court in matters involving parenting time, decision-making, and child-related disputes. My role is to conduct an objective, child-focused assessment within the scope of the court’s appointment, which may include interviews with parents and children, collateral contacts, review of relevant records, and evaluation of family dynamics impacting the child’s well-being. I do not provide therapy or advocacy for either party; rather, I synthesize the information gathered into clear, balanced findings and recommendations intended to support the court in making informed decisions that promote the child’s safety, stability, and developmental needs.
